Entity Intelligence
Canonical profiles for petroleum businesses, licences, facilities, trading identities and verified relationships, with history rather than a single static snapshot.
INTELLIGENCE PRODUCTS
PetroleumOS intelligence products are being developed above a common trust architecture. The product families below are deliberately separated by maturity so current capability, active development and longer-term ambition remain clear.
01 / PRODUCT STACK
The objective is not to create more dashboards. Each product family should answer a defined question, preserve the evidence trail and make its confidence level understandable.
Canonical profiles for petroleum businesses, licences, facilities, trading identities and verified relationships, with history rather than a single static snapshot.
Point-in-time verification records, scope, supporting evidence, expiry/change triggers and confidence history around suppliers and counterparties.
Governed understanding of depots, storage, operators, users, allocations and other infrastructure relationships relevant to petroleum activity.
Evidence-led research, executive briefings and structured interpretation of petroleum-industry systems, risks, changes and operating context.
Controlled identification of changes, clusters and anomalies that may justify review, without converting a statistical signal into an automatic conclusion.
Longer-term analysis of participation, infrastructure, structural shifts and market signals to support leadership and strategic decision making.
02 / MATURITY MODEL
PetroleumOS is intentionally being built in layers so advanced intelligence does not outrun the quality of the underlying evidence.
Establish controlled master records for important entities and assets.
Attach provenance, scope, evidence and confidence.
Model relevant relationships across the petroleum ecosystem.
Surface changes, patterns and decision context.
Introduce forward-looking intelligence only where the evidence base can support it.
03 / PRODUCT STANDARD
A PetroleumOS product should define the entities it covers, the source of its data, the verification method, the refresh interval, any important exclusions and the meaning of each confidence or risk indicator.
This makes the product useful to decision makers while reducing the temptation to treat an algorithmic output as unquestionable fact.
Where a product surfaces a risk, relationship or pattern, authorised users should be able to understand the principal evidence and reasoning supporting that result.
