02 / RELEASE DISCIPLINE
PetroleumOS should be explicit about maturity. A research capability can be public while an entity-intelligence product remains in development. A relationship model can exist before predictive analytics are ready. This separation protects credibility.
Capability labels should therefore remain simple: available, building or future. The platform should avoid implying automated conclusions, complete industry coverage or predictive accuracy that has not been demonstrated.
A slower, auditable progression creates a stronger long-term asset than rapidly exposing immature features or weakly governed data.
03 / WHAT COMPOUNDS
The strategic asset is the governed history created as entities, evidence and relationships are verified and updated over time.
